
On May,10,the second 2025 session of the "factory-level, workshop-level, and team-level" three-level safety education and training for new employees commenced in the conference room of Jiangsu Haizhongzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.. Over fifty newly hired employees participated in this systematic training program, which lasted three days.
Safety is the lifeline of the shipyard. The factory-level training covered content such as national work safety regulations, the shipyard's internal safety rules and systems, analysis of typical accident cases, fire safety knowledge, and emergency evacuation skills. Upon completion of the training, all new employees took a unified safety knowledge examination. Those who achieved a passing score are permitted to proceed to the next stages of workshop and team-level training.
"I didn't expect the shipyard to prioritize safety to this extent. The first lesson wasn't about how to do the work, but how to protect ourselves," reflected a newly hired assembly worker after the training. Through this layered, progressive safety education that combines theory and practice, the aim is to firmly embed the "safety first" concept into the mindset of every new employee from their very first day. This approach standardizes their future operational behaviors and helps prevent and reduce safety incidents at the source.
